The Moananuiakea Voyage is a 47-month circumnavigation of the Pacific by traditional Polynesian voyaging canoes Hōkūle‘a and Hikianalia leveraging 400 crew to visit 36 countries and archipelagoes, nearly 100 indigenous territories, and 345 ports. The purpose of the voyage is to ignite a movement of 10 million “planetary navigators'' who will pursue critical and inspiring “voyages'' to ensure a better future for the Earth.

The Polynesian Voyaging Society and Project Kanu’s are collaborating to conduct tree planting between the global community of planetary navigators, and those engaged in similar efforts at home in Hawaiʻi. Crew members who participate in the Moananuiākea Voyage will participate in the tree planting efforts both locally and abroad. This will serve to uplift and amplify the impact we aim to achieve for the future of our Island Earth.

Donations will help us cover the costs of supplies and coordination.
